NewAge .NET Architect WPF WCF Altmore IT Exclusive

This position will be a great fit for someone with a flair for software design who still likes to be involved at the code level but likes a high degree of autonomy and responsibility. In this role you will be depended on to build a new product from the ground up, advising on architecture and design, drawing up feasibility studies, documentation, and also jumping into the code using WPF and WCF. Belfast will own this product work and be responsible for the system ‘platform’ and will be developing the core architecture and plug-in framework on which the other two sites depend.
The product itself will be an enterprise level system that collects and aggregates data. It will interoperate with different information systems like workflow management systems, image management solutions, and picture archiving and communications systems. The project is still in the very early stages, with the first release due to be in 2011, with almost all the design and development taking place in Belfast. This is a new company to Belfast, and anyone joining at this time will have a good opportunity to get in on the ground floor and to influence the direction of the design.
