Java Devs 1-2 Years Experience + Top Degree
Salary £20-23k
Location Belfast
Top N. Ireland technology company with a European presence has a need for several Junior Java Developers. Role is based in Belfast city centre with a basic salary of £20-23k with the opportunity for CV bolstering product development work.
Requirements:
At least a Masters / 1st Class / 2:1 in a Computer Science degree or related discipline At least 12 months commercial experience in a Java / J2EE development role using best-practice Object Orientated techniques and ideally RDMS such as SQL Server / Oracle / Sybase. This can include a placement year.
Testing experience is a nice-to-have but not essential
Personal skill:
Be able to work independently or as part of a small team.
Report as needed to management.
Be focused on quality of work and appreciate slim margins of error.
Have a drive to succeed but balance to remain calm and considered under pressure, whilst learning from error and pushing for self-development.
